only if we can behave the same way in real life at meets. walk around and poke people, then when someone says something you say "I LIKE THIS!"
I will unfriend you on the spot.

Mr ClassE-pants was giving me a hard time about it and he wouldnt tell me what the AOL Keyword was so I couldnt find out.
Then my mouse ball fell out somewhere and I couldnt use it anymore.
I tried to send the keyword to you over AIM, but I have a hard time remembering passwords from 1996.

^The preceding eight posts show how serious we are about considering a facebook group.

OK, well, I'm the "Newbie" here. Maybe I can provide an unbiased viewpoint. Let's just get this out of the way: I'm not a kid (42), but I am a kid at heart. I love driving fast, and I love Bimmers. I really like to DIY everything I can, which is why I have joined some forums...mainly for technical information and DIY advice.
There are three forums I participate in... e90post, n54tech and this one. I know there are others out there, but if I can't find the info I'm looking for on those three, I might go lurk somewhere else.
A FaceBook page? No need. All we need to do collectively, is go to our personal FaceBook accounts and occassionally post a link back to WI BIMMERS. Our friends on FB can check it out, and word spreads that way.
Maintaining and flip-flopping back and forth between the WI Bimmers FB page and the WI Bimmers Forum is redundant. I do plenty of redundant crap at work. I don't want to post "What is this peculiar noise coming from my engine?" twice. Nope, just once thanks. Bottom line is a FB presence would dilute this Forum. You would have people who post here all the time, and others who would post on FB all the time.

Agreed.
However I do like the WIbimmers posts once in a while, reminding me of an event or posting a cool pic I can share on my Timeline.
We're always looking for things to post on the page! It's hard this time of year with nothing really going on though.
Also besides not having to many posts on the page recently there have been a lot of likes and new members joining up here. The best we can do is spread the word like we always have.

I've told you multiple times, tattooing the logo on our foreheads is not the way to go. I'd be up for skybanners though!

I'm in for a tattoo, but really the forehead? I guess, if there's enough beer.
