Get the lowz, then decide the wheel fitment. I say low offset 8" wide and 215/40 all around.

I have another question. Witch e30's if any come with a LSD? Otherwise what am I looking at cost wise to put one in?

Optiona on all models. You can snag a diff up for $250 or less. E28 diff's will sawp in to if you change the cover and side flanges.

Would I just reuse the cover and side flanges from the exsisting diff thats on the car?

The 3 different limited slip diffs i have had ranged from $50-175. My current $50 diff is awesome

                        $50?? I need your supplier.

Best gearing depends on your planned usage, street , highway, track, autocross

3.73 is the stock diff and a good fit for the non boosted m20 in the MT 325i/is. 4.10 is stock for the 318is

3.73 really is spot on and the easiest ratio to find. I did a 3.73 for a year after i did my manual swap and it fit the car real well. I was craving more acceleration and I ran a 4.10 for a few years and the extra short 1st gear drove me nuts. Passing rarely required downshifting though. I now have a 2.93 (because of the snail) and the long 1st gear is a lot nicer for driving around town. Ideally i would have a 3.25 diff but i wasnt able to find one locally.

So you might have one available if I need it once I get a car? I have to wait for tax return cash before I can pick up a car. I would like to have all my details worked out for the most part in advanced.

I am running koni yellows with vogtland springs and my e30 rides great. Racelands tend to blow shocks pretty quick from what I heard from friends that have them. Plus the general ride isn't very great.

How low is your car on that setup? Could you post some pics?

Lowered it yesterday on KYB struts and h&r race springs. E90 spring hats up front. I'm pretty happy with the results.
