Man - access to a lift would make my life a lot easier.  I've grown to despise, and for the most part have quit, crawling under the car.

MOVED IN TODAY. First night sleeping in the new house. Man I'm blessed to be 19 and be able to afford a house with a 24x36 shop.

          good vibes!

I'll post a host of pictures once the laboratory is moved in.

            Big time congrats! Homo(wner)

Enjoy the awkwardness of waking up for the first time in the new place. Being confused for half a second. Then super stoked the rest of the morning

I just read this(after my first morning)

And MAN you were spot on.

I LOVE HAVING A SMALL HOUSE.(literally 700 sq ft and the garage is over 800)

for reference I grew up in a 4500 sqft house with 10 bedrooms 6 baths. Spent my entire childhood there.

If you ever want to lose something, bring it to that house lol.

So my shed is finally making some progress

Here is what it was when we moved in:

                    H25zps748976db.png

                    Dirt floor, no power

Here I'm digging the 180' by 6' deep trench to my house to bury water gas and electric last summer

Here is my in floor plumbing work over the last month or so (hand dug trenches):

Here is the prep for the concrete (large center drain dug by the mason):

Pouring the back half concrete Today, hopefully the rest will come next week.

I am looking into insulation and I have to get the holding tank and mini filter bed laid sometime in the next few weeks.  I'll probably rend a back hoe for that.

Quite excited and I will have to post pics when we are there, but I am getting a 22x60 shop with a couple of friends (Tim, and Zach) one who is an e30 guy and one who is a machinist/fabricator. I am quite excited to turn some cool stuff out of the shop!

Pictures shall be posted when we move in!

Robert how big is your shop? Are you gonna lay down radiant heat in the floor? Thats my dream set up there.

Ben thats gonna be sweet! Wish larger sheds were available around here. Any plans for lifts?

No plans for a lift at this point, just starting with a 1yr lease to see what happens once we are done with school.

It is 40x60.  No radiant heat.  I dislike it for many reasons.  I will have 1 two post lift for sure back center.  Probably a motorcycle lift.  I'm sure I will collect various pieces of equipment as time passes.

Here is the back half pour from the weekend:

(That is my 7 year old daughter, she makes the slab look a lot bigger, haha)

                                  2014-08-24180335zps43dcc5bf.jpg

The joints were cut and I moved the stuff from the front of the garage onto the slab.  They will be doing 2 more pours, the left and right will be the next and then the center with the drain will be last.
