Style 42 wheel opinions

Looking for some opinions here. My boss is about to sell his e39 and he has a set of 17" style 42's with summer tires on them that he plans to include. I already have a summer setup that I like, but I was considering trading him my 17" Mille Miglia winter wheels, and swapping the tires, if he would agree to it. That way, I would end up with the style 42's for winter. I understand that the 42's are worth more, but I like the looks of 5 spoke wheels. What are your thoughts?

For winter I would destroy the mille miglias instead of the style 42's. I may be a bit biased though...
