I will be cruising the e30 to the meet!

Today the interior comes out, and going to build a cart sorta thing to move the shell around.

Got the driver seat out, they are ridiculously heavy!

VERT! Riding in style. Are there airbags in the seat ?

No airbags in these ones, but they are power/heated. Probably close to 50 pounds each.

Dash and carpet out, floor looks ok from the inside. Lots of sticky residue under the carpet, looks to be spilt soda...

That garbage just peels up with heat and a putty knife or pry bar

Or find some dry ice, pour it on, whack it with a hammer and boom no more floor tar.

I got the interior out,

Dashboard, this should not be so difficult...

Seats and carpet.

Looked great at that point, then I started removing the tar layer.

And the mountain of tar junk, every little bit of weight out helps.

Next tasks, tar out of the trunk, then get the car out of the garage for sandblasting.

This car is currently running the smallest wheels fitted to a bmw since bens e21 XD

We made some dollies with 6" casters to get the car out of the way so we could work on the vert.

Ridin low!

It rolled really nice like that, here is it's resting place until the convertible is done.
