Oh, they have cool little custom velocity stacks mounted to the intake side too.  The guy that has the record holding porsche 944 (HP on stock engine) had these turbos and wanted an upgrade.  He has all the work he can't do himself at the shop my car is at, so I had no problem taking them off his hands.

The turbo wont be clocked this way, I don't think.  But......that is a big hole!!

What are your plans for reinforcing the frame rail?

See the VERY thick tube that we inserted into the hole?  That will be fully welded around on both sides.  It should be stronger than before we cut the hole.

We are also extending the rear part of the subframe.

AH, I can see the wall thickness of it now. At first it appeared to be sheetmetal.

                That makes me feel better.

I appreciate that, but it probably wont work.  The shop would have to be credited, and from what I've gathered it is HATED by a lot of folks here.  Unfortunately, I can't risk more bad mouthing for no reason.

So today I sent up the new radiator, install kit, all new accessory compnonents (minus the actual accessories), new water pump and new VC cover gaskets.  The Radiator is to be mated with a new Ford GT fan and shroud, which is extremely powerful and efficient.

I'm finalizing design on Machined stainless collectors for the Turbo manifolds.
