No thanks to house projects. I suck pretty badly at that kind of stuff. I'd be better off if I lived in a motorhome.

I'm replacing all of the threaded galvanized supply pipe with copper, cast iron drain pipe with PVC, laying tile, rewired the whole house, etc, and I just want to be in the garage...

I hope you pulled a work permit for all of that (*__*)

I went through code violation/city inspector hell with my last house.

it seems they want you to get a work permit in order to change the batteries in your smoke alarm.

Yea I have a building permit.  The Platteville building inspector is pretty easy going unless you try to jack him around which is helpful.

On Friday I'm going to pick up an entire ix drive train minus the engine on my way back to MN. Still have no idea where I'm going to put it or if it will all fit in my blazer which happens to have an ix block and engine hoist in the back. This is just silly.

Yeah I guess it's always nice to have a spare part, and for the price I can't really go wrong.

I got excited reading this thinking that you got to drive a rare and special automobile.  Im guessing it was just an un-rare and un-special pickup truck or something then eh?

                                      Mod list for a WRX:

                                      head gaskets that dont leak

                                      transmission that doesnt fail

                                      rod bearings that dont fail

equal length manifolds / less boxer rumble

suspension stiffer than a stack of bath sponges.

Remember that deep down, its the same thing as this

I've been working 65 hour weeks... I have stuff to add to my build thread that I haven't gotten around to yet. I'll do it this weekend maybe eventually. Lots of fun car things to come after the new year though!
