Anyone know what I can use to clean the window surrounds on my E30? They're "cloudy", and I've tried water/scrubbing and some mild cleaners. I'm not sure if it's plasti-chrome, chromed trim, polished.... IDK.

I was debating on using a polishing rogue and buffing wheel but thought if ask before I tried it.

Any suggestions on a cleaner or process would be great. Thanks !

I believe they are plated aluminum. I have not had much luck cleaning mine up but might try a mild rubbing compound on them.
