Crossing my fingers that the car is done today! It was soo nice yesterday, I was itching to have the car back and driving!

Gotta get some highway miles on it this week, I'm supposed to take the car to Arc Asylum in GB on Saturday to have them model up a prototype skidplate using my car.

You're gonna need it=) I suggest trying to raise the motor too if possible

I'll have to do some reading up to see if that's possible on this car (I hope so.... I'm gonna need the extra clearance).

Find the highest point of your motor and stick a piece of clay on it. Then close your hood, reopen it, and see how much room there was between the motor and hood=)

Bah - shut the hood hard enough and it'll self clearance.

Anyone have a suggested place to get the silver/black or silver/carbon hood and trunk roundels? I keep finding vinyl kits - but not full replacement roundels (or are the sticker kits the easiest way to make the swap?)

I got a bunch more stuff from GAP on Saturday: fog light lenses, pneumatic spring for hood, etc.... Got a lot to do tonight if I could just get the damn car back.... Sigh. Soo impatient.....

You also have to consider driveline angle. you can't raise it too much, otherwise the drive shaft before the guibo will bind

^ I had figured as much, I'll have to see what others have done (if I can get an extra 0.50"-1.00" pan clearance will be well worth it to me....).

I'm running Condor Speed Shop bushings for motor, diff, subframe and trailing arms.  I like them a lot so far! 

I'm excited to see this in the spring!

Apparently I misunderstood my body shop guy. Car will be done by *this* Friday.

I thought a 5 day turnaround was super fast, but he said they were slow and were gonna get right on it.... He also needed to order a new bumper backing, and I'm assuming wanted to wait to ensure he got the right part.

So it's another long week of waiting. He said everything was getting sprayed tomorrow though, so could be done on Thursday.... Or Friday at the latest.

Sigh.... (Twittling thumbs).....

SOMEONE needs to get me more info on this manifold. I need one of these - I hate the way the stock E30 mani looks.

That is blingin, seems like something that would be used with forced induction but I don't really know.  Really cleans up the top of the engine.

It's half of a v12 manifold.

Someone made that using one of the manifolds from a v12. I dont think it was a bolt on affair. Snap would/should know more about it

Found some more info on this.... 1 guy made that mani (I believe it's a welded assembly using the M20 flange and V12 runners/plenum) but no info on if it worked and how it ran. Bummer.
