I have had my 328is for almost a year now.  I have put on 11k miles in that time, making it 244k total.  Never a problem, only oil changes and brakes.

Had my 1992 e36 318is for 2.5 years, put 20k on it before I sold it in August

Now I have my 1991 e30 318is, had it for about 2 months so far and probably put only 600 miles on it (It's in storage for the winter now as I am away for school)

I never had one overly long, but loved them all.

              94 325is. 3 years bought with 168,000 sold with 200,000

99 M3.  1 year. Bought with 125,000 lost a fight with a median at 148,000 (heavy heavy rain storm)

89 535i/5. 1 year. Bought with 188,000 sold with 215,000, zero problems zero complaints, just crazy boring.

89 325ix. Bought as project car, finally got it going, put 150 miles on it and parted it.

95 M3. 2009 to present. Bought with 180,000 miles, currently sits at 235,000 strong.

04 M3. 2012 to present, put on 18,000 miles already.

I plan on keeping the 95 M3 till it dies an honorable as a track day / autox car, and the E46 should be around for a long time as well.

                    ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuu

haha yeah, but I'm thinking it would be wise to at least keep mine throughout winter. But a nice black/black 540i would be nice to have again.

Bought it with 115K roughly and have 138K on it.

I've put 23K Miles on it during that time never in the

snow and I have loved every minute of it and truly see

why people appreciate these cars so much.

All over the board! People give me crap all the time but I have been just trying to figure out what I like. The 540I is definitely a good match. Next summer I will have to decide between another cafe racer or a Harley sportster bobber project.

88 E30 for about 16 months. Have had to do some maintenance related things like brakes, muffler, timing belt, and a few minor things like a wheel bearing and new fuel pump/sender seals, but, it had really low mileage for it's age when I bought it, and I consider most of that an "adjustment phase" since it went from getting around 2500 miles/year put on vs. 20K miles/year. Overall, a really nice car that I love to drive.

                                      * are current cars. The 528e I have had for almost 7 years and the 533i for almost a year.

I had some for years and some for 6 months but none less.

                                      My favorite was the Vega. It handled great, had a 4 speed and was great on gas. I had that right out of high school;
