Another ix prodject

Yup just brought home another bmw today. 1990 325ix 171.000 miles .Car has been sitting for about 5 years has some body damage but easy fix. Car needed to be rescued it looked sad sitting and not being drove.

i had to clean this nasty thing a little bit to see what is going on. there is crusted, gunked up everything. cant see what wasa going on.^ did not change much

Well looking at it a bit today i have some thing to replace

Rotted fuel lines

Vacuum lines are rotting

Oil filler cap is cracked

Front driver side control arm is bent

Need a new fender

Needs new bumper and the piece below the fender with the fog lights

Drain the gas out it feels warm and smells pretty bad

Change the oil smells like gas

Needs the passenger side mirror

the gas feels warm!?!?!?  what is that supposed to mean  

it should be a pretty fun car for some wintertime sliding

Well good gas when you touch it feels cold warm feeling gas is usually old gas that is no longer good.

The more you know! You must have the best wife ever letting you bring home all these bimmers  So this should all be fixed up tomorrow right?

haha i know she loves them just the same its awesome. i just have to do the work on them. we have 5 at the moment.

i wish it would be done by tomorrow but wishing and actually happening are different i need some parts

i paid $1200 for it though

had it running for a while today but i do need to get a clutch fan, and thermostat. i will probably end up doing te water pump and timing belt also.

Waiting for some parts to come so i can get it doen the road.!

I have a spring kit for the emergency brakes, timing belt and tensioner coming wed. Or thursday.

Also a thermostat intake gaskets some other gaskets and a fan clutch when ever snap sends me it!

Yes sir the tensioner is wore out and the belt was rubbing on the head.
