    Yep, all you 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, and 48 valvers can piss off.

This is the M20 thread O__O

The place for discussion about a very under-loved and sexy-sounding engine.

Cant wait to get ahold of some M54/S52 crank and rods and build me a stroker!

That carb'd M20 is awesome. But raises the question of why carb it? Fuel injected would be better, no? Just a thought. Sounded fuckin' sick though!

if its a racing engine that sees WOT 99% of the time then carbs are a simple way to get accurate fueling at one particular load point. That is my suspicion behind their choice. I would have gone Alpha-N with throttle bodies

What I did there,  you see it?

I actually hate the Supertrapp exhaust on the red dyno4mance car Andrew posted. Just in case anyone was wondering about my opinion on that.

this guy has a pretty spendy setup. It seems like it should go a little better than it does, but a lot of very quick cars can look slow on video so who knows.

You don't like that exhaust note? I think it sounds fairly decent. (never having heard one in person though) Also, the camera operator zooming in that much, didn't help with that. So I'm sure that's why it looks factory slow.
