Jeff's feeder is broken on his welder.
very true the welds are not looking very good i stops feeding when it wants. i cleaned it and it got a little better.

you guys WANT welding projects? i have two ideas: rear strut bar for my wackywavinginflatibleflailingtubewagon and weld in a rear hitch. takers?
-
I'll soon have a rear strut brace that will need welding. Just throwing it out there.

trailer hitches mounted like they do with the bolt on type (Curt, Class 1) are pretty weak (150lb tongue, 1500lb total) but there is plenty of frame back there to work with to make a custom one much stronger. i have to see if it could be done with square steel tubing easily.
i'm really more interested in the strut bar, but hell if i know how im going to cut the steel plates that need to be welded. that would take me days with a dremel.
Trailer hitch in the back of an E34 is gunna require some research, I know E28's that tow hitch's can be mounted, but they're weak as shit. Just a head sup.
