welcome to the forums. i remember when I got my first e30 you were one of the few if the only guy in Wisconsin doing e30 motor swaps.
Aaah yes. The good ol days of my first swap. I think that was 8-9 years ago. You had the black 87is. Back when life was simple.
WOW, I was just marveling at the beautiful restoration of that M3, then I see it has an S54......THEN the S54 gets tossed for a V8
just incredible!
The s54 and ls2 are about as opposite as you can imagine. In every aspect! I tripled my available torque at 3k rpm.

Bone stock ls2. Little engine bay, meet big shoe horn.
This is my FIRST American anything I have ever worked on. It ain't no bmw! (But I would consider it a GMW)
