Actually didn't lower it any. My shop heater didn't fire up. So I didn't work on this, or Mikes m3

Yes I wire wheeled it Earl. Looks alot better then the wavy fender from when I got hit. YES i'm replacing the fender in spring. So don't say, "That's gay as fuck" or what ever you have to say. It looks a dick ton better then my smashed up fender. And, it's starting to rust really nicely. yay road salt.

Here's that wirewheeled to bare metal fender everyones curious about. This is the fender that's all wavy due to being backed into. It's a total loss. So shut the fuck up.

I wasn't dissing it at all. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing things thinking the color looked different than the rest of the car. Pour a mixture of bleach and vinegar on it so that it flash rusts. I have a friend who had an e30 that was a shit bucket. He stripped it all down and rusted it with a mix similar to that.

Eh, i'll just let the road salt design take its course. it's pretty sweet in person. Can't wait to see how it turns out, once I get my new fenders on, I'll make it a piece of wall art

Can you rust it and then clear coat it or something? I love that look

You could. But I'm not gunna waste time & money on a destroyed fender. I'll rock it till I pick up my new ones them throw it up on my shop wall.

Heres a close up view of my fender, figured I could snap a few since I was clearing my car off of snow.

This is about 4 days of being bare metal. Rusting pretty fast IMO!

I then went for a cruise, decided why not plow the streets some more?

Heres my bumper just packed with snow. It kept coming over the hood.

This line makes me laugh. Strip the whole car down to bare metal, then clear coat it after a few days.

Thought about it, then remembered just how rust free my car is. Or was. We'll find out in spring. I'd never actually do that, but rusty looked cool.
