Do you regret building your car the way you did? Do you wish you would have left it more daily driveable, built a different engine/stayed NA/went turbo, etc etc.

I regret getting all seasons instead of summer tires. I was trying to play it safe, not knowing whether I was going to store my car that winter or not.

I dont regret dumping money into an NA M20.... yet :P

What would you have done differently?

I wish I would have picked a damn plan and stayed with it. I keep switching my mind. M20 big turbo plus machine work-m50 NA-m50 turbo with hg spacer-m50 turbo on e85. Not to mention my unintelligent DIYPNP purchase.

Setup for wasted spark. You can buy the DIYPNP + coil packs+ plug wires+ 42lb injectors and be ready to turbo an m20 fairly easy. I have it all and can sell as a package :D all build and everything too. Even the gm ignition module.

Yup wish i would of just bought wheela n suspension for my e34 not the whole interior brakes tcd turbo kit. Etc. I would of rather bought a 01 imola red e38 sport package. Which is what i am looking for now.

My regrets were with my 2001 530i/5. No service history and lots of small things that needed work. I sold that car for exactly what I had in it, so I got to drive it for a year basically for free. My 1998 540i is a different story. I tried really hard not to buy that car, but I love it and there really isn't anything I would change.
