Whoa! WTF, stop everything!
So Kaiser Rolls informed me of this little mystery place up north called Shawano, WI which just so happens to have an incredible-looking track:
Has anyone been there?
I took a peek at the good ol member map and it appears that the closest member on here is about an hour away from the track. My concern with driving all the way up there for a track day from MKE is that I would be in a world of trouble/a very expensive tow bill in case I had a mishap on-track.
I would REALLY like to go hit it up this year though. What an amazing little place!

A track event there with lots of friends, BMWs, and real Johnsonville
Bratwurst would be an epic time. Even an autocross up there would be more appealing for me than one in a parking lot just for the sake that there is elevation change and the fact that its grass on both sides of the tarmac instead of a sea of cones. -
I've been up there a few times for drift days. They held No star bash there. USAIR is gokarts and drifting mainly. And a few actual track days. Also at Zak, he stated Kaiser forwarded it. Don't discredit!
Anyways. The track is awesome, with some elevation change and good cornering. It's not like black hawk where theres a decent size runway. This is a tighter course then most... Still an awesome track for drifting/tracking. -

It's fun and I hope to make it out there this year for lapping/drift days.

I'd drive up there even just for a couple sessions of karting, heck, there isnt anyplace to drive legit karts in MKE and all the damn karts at the Dells with animal faces painted on them blow as well. If they had a good indoor kart track around here like they have in SLC and Spokane we would definitely have some local kart days.
Theres an amazing indoor karting place in chicago. And I've done both. I've yet to really drift the E28 aside from getting pedal happy in the snow/wet roads.

It's a fun track. CWSCC and FVSCC does some autox events up there. Check out their websites for 2013 schedule. I read that lapping day may not happen anymore since insurances won't cover lapping day there.

We really do need to get a whole bunch of local guys out to a track day/autocross.
Its too bad Milwaukee Mile doesnt seem to have anything going on but Indy. I cant find an official site for the track at least. I hear they used to have track days, and that the track sucks, but its local and im guessing very cheap.
