they were some chrome VW aristos. They were on that Green jetta i posted. Just bought an AEM wideband. Trying to get my hands on some ARP Head studs. The guy said he will get back to me on the HX35 tomorrow. Questions. 1.) Should I make my own manifold adapter for my turbo build? I have access to a TIG welder and everything, but I can only weld mig. My family owns a tool and die shop. There is a tubular one being sold for around 180$ on r3v right now. it has a 38mm wastegate port, and an UNDIVIDED t4(i think?)

2.) anyone interested in oringing there blocks around here? I'm thinking about renting the isky "groove-o-matic" and having it for a bit and helping out the community. haha.

Buy that one for $180. That's a steal and it's good quality and just needs to be bolted on. Then you can buy my 38mm wastegate too=D

It's brand new in the box, never mounted. It's a Tial. So the best of the best quality. Looking for $220 since they're about $250 new.

I o-ringed a neon block once. Problem with oringing is you need to be very careful what head gasket you use. Many of the modern MLS headgaskets wont work with o-rings and are actually better than an o-ring/alternate gasket set up.

I agree with REKIII, I wouldn't o-ring just for fun. I am not familiar with the bmw motors and boost, but my experience with other I6s has been good with just head studs. I run a stock head gasket on my rb25det.

Well I already bought a new gasket that is supposedly perfect for o-ringing my motor. People use the stock head gasket, or a replacement of it, and oring the block with mig wire. With .08-.1 protrusions I'm pretty sure. Know any good machine shops? And cheap ones? Lol.

Well, I'm getting confirmed today. Hopefully getting some cash. Lol. Also, bought a stage 4 f1 racing clutch lol. Trying to buy some arp's from this dude on the forum. Hopefully it goes through. Didn't pull the engine today. Decided to finish building my megasquirt and wasted spark setup.
