Haha. For 500$, it has barely any rust issues at all. I'm very happy with it. My management setup costed more than the damn car. And it has very minimal rust. I'm happy.

True with in reason. Still a decent vehicle. Glad you got sedan over coupe. :)

yeah, they look like they're covered in gunk. Hopefully you get that thing back on the road!

I am familiar with microsquirt, I may be using it for a 4HP briggs!

How do you wire the relays? Did you just cut off the ecu connector and then wire the harness to that?

well because i bought the DIYPNP, it comes with everything necessary, and a box to put it in, so its a direct replacement of my regular ecu. I just soldered up the jumpers, and plugged that bad boy right in. No wire harness cutting necessary.

^More pictures of this DIYPNP I remember me an you discussing it briefly. But I'm still curious on how this works. Who knows. Maybe you'll pull me from MSII into a microsquirt. Squirt. Lul.

well is your ecu a 55pin? If so, then it would work, if not, then they dont have a DIYPNP for you. just use the megasquirt and build it into your ecu if need be. just rip the connector out of your ecu box.

That turbo is way too big for your HP goals IMO. The HX35 has much better street manners and will make over 500 wheel all day long. Cool project, and good luck with the build. Is O-ringing the motor really needed for 350 wheel?

How big is the motor in that car? It's going to be lag city.

2.5, and going to 2.7 soon. I got it for a steal, and it makes me have some good motivation to build the motor around it. Lag is not always bad.

Many guys run them on the same engine and full boost is seen at around 3.7k

If you drive a turbo car with a properly sized turbo that reaches full boost by 3k, 3.7k will seem like an eternity.

I run an HX35 on a 2.5 liter motor and it's a good match. I would also likely run the same size turbo on a 2.7 liter motor as long as my HP goals were similar. You are giving up good street manners and ultimately power by going too large. Can you sell the HX40 and buy something smaller? I am not trying to be a dick and rain on your parade, I am genuinely trying to help. I have a lot of turbo car experience. Lowering the RPMs for full boost by even 400 really makes a big difference. I had a t3/t04e before the HX and it spooled slower, my car is so much more fun to drive with the HX on it.

                                          Indeed,

MS note, ms3x is a bit too big for a stock ecu case, and no its not a 55. I think I will just end up having to cut off the ecu plug and splice away.
