After all the work last summer the car needed an alignment and KMR did a great job. Looking forward to getting out and testing it on the backroads soon.

              @YoungCR @patsbimmer1

Installation: Super easy. Took 10 min.

              Pros:

              • Planted in the seat - I didnt realize how much of a difference this makes on backroads. Normally you are constantly compensating for lean with your body and arms, freeing yourself up from that lets you focus on car control and other inputs
              • Easy for daily use - Takes 30 seconds to go from 3 point seat belt --> 4 point harness
              • Airbag remains intact - not all harness setups allow for this
              • Bolt-in Install - This was really important to me since E39 M5s are appreciating and I didnt want to drill anything out
              • Harness Grips - recommend purchasing. Soo much easier tighten the harness

              Cons:

              • Wasnt expecting the shoulder pain. Makes sense why they make harness pads

Overall: 10/10 - wish I had done this sooner

Very cool, nice that you can easily switch to 3 point for daily use

Hit a mileage milestone. 8000 miles under my ownership which I'm realizing now is over $1/mile in just maintenance 🤦‍♂️

Hoping to get back into project mode w/the M5 next month. This summer the focus has been on my new daily.

                        Couple of immediate tasks:

                        • DSP Amp replacement + reinstall BlueBus
                        • PDR on hood - highway debris
                        • Power steering lines
                        • Aesthetic refresh due to backroads driving (conflicted about this one)
                          • Front and rear bumper replacement
                          • Headlight replacement
