E30 sunroof cassette removal

Anyone in the Milwaukee/waukesha area have experience in removing an e30 sunroof cassette? Gutting the car to cage it and this is on the removal list.

Looking for ripping techniques. I've read the diys on the forums for removing the frame (drilling out the spot welds, etc). Just wondering if anyone local has done this.

Spot welds/rivets I'd angle grind rather then drill. I've done it in my s13
