Astro’s Slow/Commuter N55 335i
-
Alright, so I finally transferred some recent photos off my camera(yes I still use one it’s a Fujifilm X100 if you care) to get this thread going. This is my 2011 E90 335i 6AT, in Alpine White sitting on style 193m’s.
I bought the car in April or so of last year, year before it came out of Arizona and currently has 85k. So far I haven’t done much to it but big plans are under way. Currently general maintenance has been done and a VRSF charge pipe(that I’m unsure if I seated correctly to the intercooler but until it pops off I’ll assume is fine). Currently it’s a fish bowl but I have a tint appointment on the 3rd, Turner High Kick Spoiler should be here around that time.

This will be going on this weekend after some cleaning and it should be set for the summer. Will probably do a suspension overhaul at some point as well. It is my commuter car so I’m hesitant to start adding power that may resort to me having to steal my girlfriend’s car for a day. But eventually plan to go FBO and tune for 93 as it’s relatively easy to find currently by me.

You've got a good platform to start with. Alpine white with the m sport exterior parts always looks good with a little drop and some spacers.

I do have some plans for the car, hopefully I can follow through. I’m in the market for a winter beater/commuter so I can really get into the build.

Dinan exhaust is on, sounds pretty nice. Idle is quite a bit quieter. Tips aren’t even but that’s a project for a future me. IMG_3946.MOV

I like it!

It looks like I cut the passenger side a bit short as the muffler fell down and was hanging by the brackets. Anyone know of a longer clamp or other solution that’d keep it attached without having it welded?

The E90, developed a squeal today. Seems like the parking brake is hanging up and at low speeds making an awful squealing at low speed. Seems once up to speed it’s gone. I’ll have to pull the rotors off and see this weekend.
