So, what are you listening to?

whoa! I forgot about those guys.
I have been into Stick Figure lately. Quality white-boy reggae, positive and upbeat without being so ganja-centric.

I've gotten into friend of the TST podcast Christian James Hand's "The Session on Air" during my commute lately. I'm musically illiterate but its fascinating hearing the history of popular songs and each track individually. So many great songs but the Lamborghini Miura exhaust note from Panama is always a treat.

Switched from pandora to spotify. Much better, but I'm sure the rest of the world already knows that. I don't usually have music on unless I'm actively listening to it, but lately I've been letting spotify play in the background and it's been okay. Mostly sticking to jazz or things that are vaguely jazz-like.

Dance Gavin Dance has a new album out, Afterburner, so this whole album on repeat.

Jealous of that...
I've only gone to rap shows in the past because I had friends that wanted to go.
I cant find anyone to go with me to anything else
But they have a good lineup, DGD, Animals as Leaders, Issues and Veil Of Maya.

Never heard that one. Im in a noisy room but it sounds like a slightly more upbeat Ozzy.
Understandable. Let me digress...
As usual, I read a lot of sub-text into things where they weren't intended...
Whether we like it or not, we're all trapped in a game of us-vs-them. It's the natural order of things. I only hope that yall can work to crate a larger us.
Huge fan of all of Adam Curtis' films:

The sample from The Fugees - Ready or Not was from Enya. Also, the time signatures and syncopation are different so there's no way this should work actually .. never take anything for granted I guess...
Bonus points: song references gitmo before gimto was the gitmo we know.
