Trap speed is not impressive if you're spraying, you should hit that with bolt on's.  Great 60' though, assuming you're on street tires

the cylinder head casting mold would probably cost in the $10,000 range. after the mold is ready, a cast unit would likely cost about $500 Machining would be another $500. Then you still havent even gotten into the development of the cam and rocker assemblies.  So what I am trying to tell you is, I should have one up and running in my car by morning.

Plasti-dip would work pretty well, Vinyl's easy, I wouldn't take it to a shop for laying vinyl. That's alot easier then you'd think!

Of course I chose one of the hottest, most humid days so far to spend in the garage, but I did get my Burger Tuning JB4 and dual cone intake installed.   Stock boost on my E92 is 8.5 psi, and using map 1 on the JB4 I was seeing 13 psi.  The car woke up nicely, but the oem FMIC was quite heatsoaked after 2 highway pulls.  Might be time for an upgrade?  [image: :)]

tsweers touched on this, but if you decide to get the KW's or any coilovers, you need to consider a few things.  First, you MUST get the car re-aligned by a quality performance saavy alignment shop.  If you just take the car to the general lube/alignment place you really have no choice on what they do.  You need to research what the settings are, find a place to do the work, then figure that in the price. I would bet money that to get the car into proper alignment, even with a reasonable amount of lowering, you will need camber plates, at least the front ones to get the car into spec.  Factor the cost in for that too. BMW's handle great from the factory, but a lot of the settings, especially ride height are set for the typical moron driver, not to take advantage to the beatifully engineered suspension geometry and chassis characteristics.

Soooo... I don't know if it is the site, Adobe, my computer, or the internet, but I keep getting errors when I try to upload pics from BMW Welt.  I believe my profile is currently public so I'm going to try to just post a facebook link directly to the album.  Let me know if you tried it and it's not working. If need be I could put them on photobucket or flickr or something. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151768903933968.1073741835.717033967&type=1 Well, it's like 12:30am here, so I am heading to bed.  Liebe Gruesse aus Deutschland!

Jeff said: spark plug wires ---  unlikely that all 6 went bad at the same time but not impossible check resistance of the wires 5000 to 6000 ohm  Great info here !!! Agreed about plug wires but ..... there is only one between the coil and the cap and that one could be bad ... ask me how I know  [image: ]
