Sorry I didn't know where to post this. I was at the vintage races at Road America last weekend and was talking to a Hawk rep about pad compounds. He didn't really seem to knowledgeable but he did let me know that if you use the promo code ROADAMERICA you will get a 45% discount on their website. I just tried it on a set of Hawk Blues and it does work, but only a 40% discount. This rep also said that the promo only lasts until Sunday. Didn't know if anyone would be interested but I thought I'd throw you guys the info. Stock up while you can.

Exhaust cracks sound similar to to the M5/M6 exhaust. I agree the idea of the engine synthesizers is lame but in practice its nothing to scoff at, the exhaust noises make up for everything.

John and I walked around in Concourse BMW the other day and couldn't get over the size of the rotors on the M5 and M6. I don't think I would want to own any newer BMW besides a 1 series, but I sure as hell would want to drive them all=)

I brought a set of them home with me from Germany with the intent of buying an E34 and using them as a second set of rims for summer tires. Never bought the E34; bought an E30 instead. They'd look cool on the E30, but I'd have to pay a ton to replace all the hubs for 5 lug along with new tires to boot. At this point it's either sell the rims or the car. LOL.

i had a UUC DSSR new in the package before i started my swap. now that the swap is over i noticed my DSSR has gone missing out of the box of parts i had in my car. awesome.
