I will keep that in mind, anyway enough OT. The e39 looks great, it's fun to have a clean older car and surprise people who ask what year it is. I rode with a guy from work to Road America earlier this summer in his 528i touring. Very nice riding car. Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk

Thanks Folks. Im lookin forward to blasting around on some of the country roads around here, but first im gonna have to give a little attention to the tie rod inner and outer links and the axles before i play too hard with her. i spose im gonna keep those fender flares on. i took them off to repaint them so they didnt look like such an eyesore for now at least. when i took them off i got a full good look at how much the prev owner had chewed up the wheel wells...buddy of mine said it would be about 600 bucks in an autobody shop to clean up. Think ill find some smaller flares for the rear wells, and buy new quaterpanels for the fronts for now.

yeah it needs some work, and has had some rust repair already. I had been searching for months for any kind of wagon, saw a couple e30 tourings on ebay in florida that i really liked but didnt have time to make that kind of trip. also never found this car while looking, patsbimmer1 sent me a link and i knew i had to see it at least

It will be a little but before its able to be on the road. I have a ton of parts that need to be replaced. So far I have ordered: Headlights, tail ligths and fog lights Brakes all around Fuel, oil and air filter.  Water pump, coolant tank, idler and tensioner pulley, Thermostat and belts.  I also have to figure out a few wiring issues. I think the stereo was wired in wrong.  I am planning on getting the new bumper and nose panel ordered here. Thankfully I run a body shop, so that shouldnt be too bad to paint. It will look like a new car here pretty soon.
