2 feet of depth is fine if you're going to use it as a place to set tools while you're working, but it's going to feel pretty cramped if you actually want to use it as a workbench. If you can afford to add another 6" of depth I think you'll be happier in the long run.

Only thing I have seen is grinding the concrete with floor sander that has diamond scuff abrasive on it. This will prep it for the new coating.

If you are only looking to edit a couple videos, I think you can do a trial of the creative suite. Or, I think it's only like 10 bucks a month and you can get access to the creative suite and then just cancel when you are done. It will also allow you to export at the resolution you want. You won't need two hour video tutorials on how to use it, but you might want to search for videos specific to what you are having issues with. I don't know the word nerd terms, but I think the distinction is who's doing the work. If I use a plane, then I'm the planer, not the tool. If I stick a board in a machine and it does the planing for me, then it's the planer and I'm the planer operator. I think in Dan's example the tool is a hand plane and he's a hand planer. Words...

I haven’t had much time for this game this year, but it’s very addicting and very, very competitive when you constantly get top 20 qualifying times on the daily races (basically competing with drivers who go to the regional/world finals). GT Sport is easily the best game so far, the matchmaking is spot on. I racked up 95 wins out of 485 while using the D pad for steering and Cross/Square for throttle/brake.  I really wish I had a wheel when I first got this game.    I still remember playing the 1st Gran Turismo back in 97, I used to walk (I was 14, didn’t have a bike) to the nearest Target just to play the demo, it was what got me into motorsports.  I don’t think I would have my M3s if it weren’t for the GT series.

I got similar info, including the warning on size.   The crappy part ended up being that the thing I'm getting is from overseas, so what the $500 covers is also all the import paperwork/duties/tariffs etc.  If I walked into the fedex place, I'd have to act as my own importer or hire one.  So...the $500 to my door becomes a much better deal. That all being said I'm really glad I even know this is an option now, and I appreciate the help.  This could help out with domestic stuff a lot.

Yes and No Cars that are optimized for 87 octane (Vortec V8 in a Silverado) can benefit from more aggressive timing advance. Cars that tend to run on the lean side of optimal at WOT on the factory tune (WRX and VQ35) benefit from richer AFR targets in regards to safety, any gains experienced here are from less detonation/the ecu not having to pull timing. Most newer cars have dynamic timing advance. The engine is tuned for optimal performance on premium fuel but can run on 87. The base timing will adapt to the fuel quality until knock is detected and will store an adaptation to only allow a certain degree of additional timing advance from the base. The better the fuel used, the closer to optimal it will be allowed to run. Handheld tuners on modern engines are typically going to alter the electronic throttle curves which can make a very big difference in how powerful the engine feels.  There are a lot of other parameters that can be adjusted such as the VVT setpoint and removal of throttle tip-in timing retard that help with emissions etc. but that all depends on the car and the tuner.  In general, for anything modern, I would only expect a handheld tuner to: richen target AFR a tad, raise rev limiter, remove top speed limiter, make the throttle mapping more aggressive, and if the car is turbocharged, raise the boost pressure. Obviously the ideal scenario is a custom tailored dyno tune which will better suit the environment the car is in, the condition of the engine, and any changes that have been made to it, But handheld tuners like SuperChips are cheap and easy. I would be willing to try out a SuperChips tuner but only if it was cheap and I monitored the AFR afterwards to make sure it is an actual improvement. Economy tunes that help with gas mileage reduce throttle sensitivity. On high performance engines that normally demand premium fuel, they will have less aggressive base timing maps that allow you to run 87 octane.
