So you own/run the shop without knowing how to work on vehicles yourself? Not saying it's a bad thing. But why did you only have one mechanic since you stated you have all this work? What's your labor rate?

Just throwing out a line to the community here that a family member of mine does powdercoating in the Kieler area (obviously you can ship stuff too).  His oven is 6' high by 6' wide by 10' deep, so he can accommodate most parts and has been doing it for about 5 years.     IK he works a lot through facebook so i'll throw up that page link since it has all the appropriate contact information/ pics of his work.. https://www.facebook.com/pages/halfbaked-powder-coating/229698953517 Just doing him a solid, and throwing another option out there for larger parts/ wheels for everyone.

Because I'd rather have my exhaust headers properly painted rather than me doing it with a rattle can.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=grafton+muffler&lrd=0x8804e60d9633e68b:0x7a84d2b003c0333c,1 He did a complete straight pipe on my car for cash (10ft stick of steel. he did all bends and install for 100-150). and he fixed my girlfriends car when her pipe broke in the middle for $70. and he recently added a muffler to my brothers car so it would pass noise inspection and my brother is a cheap ass and was very satisfied with the work and the price. I will be going to the guy again soon to have him finish up my cars exhaust on my e21

REKIII said: There are very few who can weld titanium well/correctly.  Plus it is stupid expensive. I have it on my bike, but I don't think  the ROI (weight loss ) would be worth it on a 5 series.  They are such a pig of a car (weight wise).  It the whole scheme of things it could actually hurt handling (I know, you now think I'm retarded, but hear me out).  You are removing lbs from the very bottom of the car.   Not a huge amount but enough.  Since it is coming from the bottom of the car, the center of gravity (COG) will move up.  This will increase body roll, etc.  If you want to spend stupid money on a mod that looks cool, reduces weight AND lowers COG, invest in a carbon roof.  win win all around. It makes complete sense and I did give some thought to altering the weight distribution of the car. I'm not set on the exhaust and it's the beginning stages of mods. I think like you said there are ways to combat altering the weight reduction. I think the guys at KM have some racing experience and can point me in the right direction. I may have to lower it or change the sway bar or both.

What kind of dyno do you use? I'm assuming it's an awd dyno since you do subaru. I am shopping around for a tuner for my 04 forester xt that I'm building an engine for right now, and I'm sure I'll do some upgrades to my e36 sometime soon and will need that dyno'd or tuned as well. Very interested. Matter of fact I'll be in Kohler in a couple weeks.

I was curious if any of you can or know someone that can remove small minor dents and scratches for cheap. Not looking to spend much at all, just hoping they can be fixed real quick. They are very minor things, but they are fair enough to be bothersome to search for a helper. Located around the Milwaukee area.
