Looking for someone to help me code my recently purchased F31 (2014).  I am a software programmer and can probably figure it out myself - but would like someone who has done it before to show me the ropes.  I have the cable and software installed on my notebook (remote install via TeamViewer is probably the best route).  Yes. I know there are a lot of people out there that will do it for a fee - was hoping for free or minimal cost.  I already have a list of what I want. Appreciate it  any help.. John R.

HipMF said: thread hi-jack: Why don't you ever seem to see anodized wheels, as opposed to powdercoat or paint? Seems like a better idea since there's no heat... Something about the alloy? The set of Konigs I had for a few months was anodized from the factory

Disconnect the crank sensor, pull out a spark plug, stick compression tester in spark plug hole, crank engine, compare results to OEM range.  Do this across all cylinders.  *If you have a bad cylinder do a wet test.  Just add a few drops of oil to the piston before testing. Cylinder leak down - acquire cylinder leak down tester>pull the spark plug>put engine at TDC>insert cylinder leak down tester>zero gauge>add air pressure>measure loss> should be less than 20% air loss. That simple.

Accurate Alignment & Frame near Zimbrick Honda off Fish Hatchery does great work.  He installed a shim kit I supplied to dial in some neg. camber for me.  My e36 ti never handled better. Cash or check only though...

Most likely valve guides will need to be replaced, and at least checked, cut the valve seats, resurface it, check the springs and retainers as well as the lifters.

Not sure how I missed this haha. I'm in Milwaukee but work in Mequon and regularly borrow my parent's driveway to work on my cars since my apartment complex can get a bit grumpy about car repairs. All my friends that work on their cars aren't around here either...  Side note if you haven't heard about it or been there, the brew city cruise night car show (www.brewcitycruisenight.com) is every Tuesday at 5:30 in Mequon, starting next week! I'm usually there, its a great time

I know I'm late to the thead but if you haven't got it done yet, contact Jake Rawson from Rawsomotion. He might be able to give you a better deal considering I had my subframe mounts reinforced, some bushings, and some other things done for under a grand.

Just counted and I have 3 full rolls (BNIB) of canvas for gallery wraps, one roll of photo paper, one I didn't open to see what was in there, and a roll of canvas on the printer. Decent chuck of $$$$ in paper alone.
