Thanks. After all the sight unseen "what's the lowest you'll take for it" and low ball offer emails ("it's not worth it me driving out to look if you won't take my offer"), it seemed that the few serious folks that passed on it wanted something that could carry more weight. I ended up adding more detail to the CL ad on dry weight and load capacity to try to address this. The guy that bought it contacted me by email with a name and number to arrange a meet, made no mention of low ball, drove down from the Fond du Lac area, looked it over, asked if I might have some price flexibility, I said make me an offer, he met my minimum (tired of dealing with this) price, counted out a stack of $100s, signed papers, hooked it up to his truck, done.

Sorry gentleman, this has been sold!  My experience selling a cheap camper compared to cheap cars is far different.  I don't know which is worse.  Cheap cars bring out the worst people while a cheap camper brought out people with, what i thought, were exceedingly high expectations for a camper at this price range.  Mind you, this thing is in mint condition but people looking to spend $1000 and they want A/C, heat, tv's, stereo's, etc.  Oh well, it went to a really nice young family!

I just thought the juxtaposition of the Ferrari-ish badge with a moose on a vehicle that was the least Ferrari thing possible was hilarious and very tongue in cheek lol.  I'd do it again.   This is this guys 2nd Volvo along with a 2015 FWD v60 that he adores.  Seemed like a genuinely good dude and we talked about pitbulls for a good amount of time.  It was possibly the least sketchy Facebook marketplace transaction I've ever had.

I'm thinking about moving up from my from my current steel deck open trailer to a used enclosed car trailer. Looking for either a 8.5'x20' or possibly 8.5x24'.  Shopping list would be: no leaks, all lights work, electric brakes on both axles, axles not bent, ideally up to date on basic maintenance (hubs/bearings, brakes, breakaway battery, etc), empty weight no more than around 3600 lbs, 16 o.c. floors and walls (16 o.c. roof a plus), minimum of four d-rings, ramp door and side door in good shape, title in hand, etc.  Budget is in the $3500-4500 range depending on condition.

That's an impressively cracked windshield!  You may benefit from running the VIN on a decoder site and listing packages / options that it has.  Looks like it needs some TLC, but could be turned around fairly easily! GLWS

*For those more active members, this is the known as the loudest E46 M3 around For sale is my 2002 BMW M3 (E46). This is a slicktop model (no sunroof). I have been unable to find reliable data about the rarity of slicktop models, but anecdotaly they appear to be quite rare. The motor has stock internals (minus the prior owner having the bearing recall done). It has 90,000 original miles on the car. The oil is changed every 1,000 miles with Redline's 10W 60 Oil. Transmission and differential both have Redline's own brand of high temp fluids. The car is definitely loud both in sound and appearance. The low stance, big tires, racing seats, and dark rims get looks and comments wherever it goes. I have roughly $30,000 into the vehicle (not including the purchase price – see below). I have built the car to almost track day specifications. A cage or harness bar would be the final piece of that build. Engine -The car runs strong and has no engine issues. The catless header does cause O2 codes – see exhaust section below Body - the body is in fair condition - the car is not a show car it has some minor scratches/nicks.  Kidney grill and side vents were swapped from chrome to black Interior – the interior of the car is the part of the build I did not finish. I gutted the car for track day usage. The speakers, amplifier, radio, etc. have all been removed. I did not delete any of the wires in the harness, so someone could reconnect or remove those unused wires. My car suffered from the E46 painted trim issues. It bubbled and cracked. I got a coverup kit for it, but I would recommend buying the new trim pieces. I still have much of the interior in storage – Stock seats, OEM rims and tires, intake, etc. if someone wishes to go back to a full interior. The largest item that would need to be purchased would be the carpet. Handling -The car drives very well. The suspension and set up makes the car handle very well. Please note that the suspension, bushings, seat, and tires mean that the ride is more track oriented. The car is very stiff! History / Full Disclosure The vehicle suffered a crash at Blackhawk Farms a few years ago. After this crash I had the driver side front fender touched up, the hood touched up, bought a new front bumper with new bumper shocks, had a new OEM trunk installed, had the passenger rear quarter panel and tail light pocket completely rebuilt, and bought a new rear bumper and bumper bar. When I had the front of the car apart I upgraded the radiator, the water pump, thermostat, and oil cooler. I took the vehicle to International Autos for a complete scan on their body scan system to confirm that the “safety box” of the vehicle was unchanged and square. It was confirmed that it was square and fully intact. All of the body work was performed by a professional. Hello all,  I have this car on Craigslist and I'm going to have the same info here. (Here's the link https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/cto/d/milwaukee-1987-bmw-e30-325imiles-needs/6787201504.html) Model: 1987 BMW 325i from California Not currently running as I have taken some parts off (Read below), read all text and look at photos. If interested email this listing and we can set up to see the car. To pick it up you'll need to tow or haul the car in its current state. Reason to sell: The car needs work and good TLC to get it running and I just don't have the passion for it right now. I love this car but it's not the right time for me to really care for it. My history with the car: I bought and daily drove it from October 2017-July 2018, I bought another car in July and haven't driven the E30 much since. It developed a vacuum leak that I've been trying to track down. I replaced many vacuum lines, filter and intake boot without finding the leak. I've since taken the throttle body and brake booster vacuum lines off and intended to replace those as they look original and were likely leaking. I tested the throttle position sensor for the proper resistance and continuity and it was in spec.  Specifications Engine: 6-Cylinders (BMW M20 Straight 6) 209,000 miles Transmission: 5-speed manual (Swapped from automatic two owners ago in California) Unknown miles on trans. Differential: 4.10:1 welded diff (Done by previous owner) Newer ratio, CD player w/AUX. Moon roof  Wheels & Tires Two sets of wheels/tires- Winter steel wheels & tires (1 season left on them) + original BMW bottle cap wheels in good shape with low tread. Trim & Interior: Four door, tan leather seats (Front seats are in poor but usable condition and rear are in excellent condition), power & central locks, power windows (Rear window switches are touchy and require multiple presses to operate), power mirrors, power moon roof. The plastic trim that goes under the steering wheel is gone.  Exterior: Some surface rust on the body panels (the worst one is pictured). No fog lights were on the car when I bought it. Rear bumper wasn't on the car when I bought it, I think I have the aluminum bumper but only 1 or 3 of the trim pieces that go around it. The body appears to have been re-painted in a few locations. What needs fixing: Vacuum leak makes the car not currently drivable. When you hit the gas the engine surges and revs constantly high. New tires needed soon and a new battery is likely needed also.  Work I've done: Replaced return power steering line and fluid, rear brake pads and rotors, air filter, washer fluid motor, fixed the gas/brake/clutch pedal box which cracked one day (common issue) by welding it and beefing it up with more metal, regular synthetic oil changes, flushed and replaced all the brake fluid. New exhaust from the down pipe back.  Other things to be aware of: Small oil leak under the engine (haven't found the source yet). Welded differential makes it challenging to turn at low speeds. The dash is cracked and the front seats have tears. Exhaust flex pipe leak.
