My regrets were with my 2001 530i/5. No service history and lots of small things that needed work. I sold that car for exactly what I had in it, so I got to drive it for a year basically for free. My 1998 540i is a different story. I tried really hard not to buy that car, but I love it and there really isn't anything I would change.

For sure! I used the reverse bulbs for the added area. They're bright as fuck! I suggest using them in all the sockets, they are significantly brighter.

I would check you Valve gaps hot and cold, adjust, check again a week later, repeat. Shits got miles and its a BMW, I wouldn't be to alarmed.
