Agreed with running narrowband and wideband. Simulated narrowband will piss off Motronic when it sees a voltage slightly higher or lower or higher than expected (some ECUs operate from 0.1V to 1.1V and some sensors read 0.0V to 1.0V etc) and you will get a CEL.
I really hope the W.A.R. chip setup works phenomenally for you but if you end up springing for Megasquirt you will definitely want a wideband setup.
Jeff, thanks for looking in to it! I think you pulled 12-15-12 though. My car doesn't have auto start/stop (which still seemed weird to me with the loaner X1 I had, haha, but it was fine). SIB 12-21-12 was the one done on my car. No real rush to get the info, again, I'm just interested to know more about it.
Thank you. That is what i was origanlly leaning towards then i start thinking hell 5 spd should do just as good. There is a e46 m3 6spd trans on local craistlist for $800 currently
Pic was with just the low beams on correct. Just used s2000 ap1 projectors in euro smiley projectors. Bulbs make all the difference to. All in all i have about $875invested in my set up because i bought new euro smileys direct from hella. Getting the projectors level in housings was the most pain. Thinking of selling them and going with some better projectors though.

hey im doing the 1jz swap on my 1992 325i and im looking for exhaust advice...i plan on doing all custom straight piping but im aware that i need some back pressure...so i need a muffler...now im not looking for anything that will make my car look like poop so big a$$ cans will not do lol anyone have any advice for an exhaust that does these functions: look clean, sound good, and be free flowing because....well its a boosted engine lol so suggestions?
Run it strait back, i run open wg dump and 3" all the way back....your back preasure for the motor is the turbo.

I say for the limited exposure, don't worry about the fumes. Ive been welding for a long time (15+ year) and am only 1/3 retarded. If you are fabbing car parts you should be using mig(wire) oe tig, much cleaner. If you need any help let me know!

EFI amazes me. Tunes do Subaru's HUGE wonders. BMW's can pick up a pretty noticable gain. But the vehicle I've noticed that picks up the most notable gain in HP/tq and smoother power climb, is subaru's and porsches. Dunno why, but they can really pick up a nice amount with a good tune. Even all factory
Need to rent tool 3034-1 it's the m60 / m62 crank hold tool

Thanks guys
trailer hitches mounted like they do with the bolt on type (Curt, Class 1) are pretty weak (150lb tongue, 1500lb total) but there is plenty of frame back there to work with to make a custom one much stronger. i have to see if it could be done with square steel tubing easily.
i'm really more interested in the strut bar, but hell if i know how im going to cut the steel plates that need to be welded. that would take me days with a dremel.

Trailer hitch in the back of an E34 is gunna require some research, I know E28's that tow hitch's can be mounted, but they're weak as shit. Just a head sup. [image: :)]
