If you have any questions feel free to ask but you got the right idea, you'll have to piece the puzzle back together since the pics weren't hosted here.  Looking forward to more updates as always.

THIS^!^!^!^!^ As far as brands go, the high end stuff with titanium and Lava rock is all going to do a good job. DEI, Ledaut, brands are some good ones. I used DEI on my down pipe on my 1JZ and it works amazing. Its the same stuff we used on all the cup cars and it works great. DEI also offers a few different styles or "levels" so you can get something that will work best for you. Just make sure you do a really good job installing it.

Should have just added some of this. Would have sealed it right up! [image: Image result for headgasket fix]   But all jokes aside, Im glad you figured it out. Knowing what the actual problem was , and that it wasn't your fault is a nice piece of mind.

Kicker was it rained heavy early Sunday, was dry for the rest of the day with clear skies for practice, qualifying and five race run groups...until we (the 6th group) were sitting in grid a few minutes before race start and then a brief downpour. At least the track eventually dried off after an extra parade lap, an extra lap for an aborted start (field too stretched out), and a few more race laps. Next up for me is the Badger Bimmers event at BFR and NASA at Gingerman in June, and the early July Midwestern Council race at BFR. Just for something different this season I'd like one weekend at BFR where it's not raining!

e92boost said: Yes sir. I was originally thinking about the s62 v8 but I kind of want to keep it in the 6 cylinder family since that's what originally in it. I'm just picturing a s54 with a CF air box in that engine bay, would be so bad ass.  Ohhhh. I think a v8 in one of these heavy machines would be perfect. That's what I keep telling myself if I fail get this M30 running.

looks great as CF usually does. I think those wheels look good as long as they aren't in the GTS orange finish. I would also second that you not murder out the car. black on black with the paint/wheels is really played out, and you definitely lose a lot of the details in the wheel if they are black.
