I have a 318is with the tiny 2.0 I4. The length of the V8 shouldn't be a problem but how wide it is might. Do you guys think I could stuff it in there? I think it would be hilarious to have a 340is badge on the trunk

Bosch pumps do work. For my turbo build, I'm not upgrading my turbo, it'll just automatically up the duty cycle of the pump. Which means I get to save more money, temporarily.

I would probably have to get a new tranny, fuel pump, the whole 9 yards. Maybe in the future when I'm a millionaire with nothing to do. It would be awesome if I could do it though

The original car was a 318ic--so there wasn't a whole lot to start with-- added 328i LSD, Custom steering linkage, rerouted ABS, 740i driveshaft, custom engine mounts, 4.4L out of a 540i, manual trans out of a 530i v8, M3 lightened flywheel, 530i pressure plate, 99 540i clutch, the whole trans clutch thing was the biggest headache, SM4 engine management, the oil pan issue was taken care of with a custom sump system, the engine was moved forward to accomodate the master cylinder. This week the custom exhaust goes in--remus muffler, 8.5x19 fronts and 9.5x19 rear, short shifter.
