<![CDATA[1988 535i E28, rpm sensor, mpg gauge.]]>88' E28 535i As title states, the RPM gauge doesn't move, nor does the MPG gauge below it. Anyone got pointers, things to check? Dunno why it's been like it. It was like this when I bought it, an the previous owner who was a good friend of mine.

If that's what it is, it'd be a pretty easy repair.

This should solve the problem, as whenever my gauges have stopped working its just been because the fuse got loose. Also while your in there make sure you don't have any blown fuses either.
