I have a new valve stem for it but legitimate tire shops do not touch spare tires let alone  spare tires from 2003 so you would need a really low-brow shop like Mr. P’s to touch it. The rubber is in great shape and I personally am unfazed by the age of the tire and would not hesitate to use it.

it’s a spare tire. You dont go bombing down the freeway at 80 mph on a spare with your family in the car in the rain.  You mount it and do 40 or under on back roads to get yourself home and you stop driving the car until you get your act together.
