With a discharge warning at each start , until it finally said no more Wednesday morning. With a 10 min boost on the charger, she started and ran fine all day.

battery says 61212357334 (110Ah/850CCA). google tells me BMW black =AGM , White = lead-acid, this one is black, but looks like a standard lead-acid.

Size looks like a standard H9 /95R.

Registration isn't as big of a deal as the internet makes it out to be. A lot of manufacturers have jumped on this band wagon recently with even most Ford vehicles requiring registration since 2016. Where are you located? I may be able to help out with registration. It's really not the end of the world if you don't get it registered other than you MAY reduce the battery life. Other than that you would have no idea if someone registered it or not.
