<![CDATA[I have the Beauty, so here's the Beast]]>1996 Base Model 318ti

Not quite sure on the mileage as the cluster reads 147k but the last oil change was done at Kummrow at 151k...lul

Gutting the car of parts anyone else can use that wont keep it from running and driving. I'll hold onto the chassis until my nice compact is done and then this thing will be getting a hydro, nice coilovers, and angle mods. It'll probably get a hideous livery, random canards, and stupid strobing lights too. Onto the picturesย

Covering rust with paint has always looked worse to me than embracing the rust. With how much paint fade and clear coat peel this car has, it definitely fits the aesthetic

The car held up really well and I'm super happy with how it performs for now. The big thing I want to change this winter is that the springs are too soft and allow for way too much body roll. As you can see, it rolls over enough at times where the sideskirts actually touch the ground. I just need to determine what springs I need to change to and then send the coilovers in to be revalved. I really just can't wait for more seat time next year

I've driven worse hahah I was really surprised at how well it drove with the Stanley eye alignment hahaha

When you go sliding backwards into a wall you can just continue on life as a ti. Starting out with a ti means your unintentional wall-tap mulligan has been used up.

Super happy with it so far and just a few things left to button up before doing slidey stuff.
