Now that winter is approaching i feel like i should sell this and get a more suitable winter vehicle. The market for e36's is all over the board and with the modification just curious what a good starting point would be. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

It's not worth enough to matter, and an E36 with a LSD and snow tires makes for a really great winter car. I loved mine in snow.

With that said, I drove a lowered e36 in the winter with snow tires for 2 winters and it was awesome. Before that, I drove a stock height e36 on all seasons for 5 years and it was average. As long as you know how to drive these cars really aren't bad in the winter. Ground clearance is an issue with a lowered car obviously but for the 2 winters I had my lowered e36 I never got stuck.

I don't follow prices for e36s, but my thoughts about buying this were: "how much am I willing to lose for the right to drive this b*tch into the ground?" This is not a vehicle that is going to appreciate in value, ever. At least not without spending a ton of money doing something with it... (*cough* race car *cough*)

Gonna have to find the *right* buyer for it with that body kit, miles, minor hail damage, etc..
