I opted to repair my trans instead of replacement. I figured I should share some pictures of the process. I didn't document the entire process because its pretty in depth and my hands were constantly covered in oil. So far I have the trans pulled, case split and inspected my gear train and have most of my parts. My first gear friction ring for my synchro was completely shot (pictures to come), along with small amounts of wear on the friction ring for the 2nd gear synchro.<a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-93353100-1423798185.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-93353100-1423798185_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-93353100-1423798185thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="240" height="320" /></a><a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-52252100-1423798255.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-52252100-1423798255_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-52252100-1423798255thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="320" height="240" /></a><a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-03906300-1423798263.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-03906300-1423798263_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-03906300-1423798263thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="320" height="240" /></a><a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-99899800-1423798267.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-99899800-1423798267_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-99899800-1423798267thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="240" height="320" /></a><a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-23895700-1423798273.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-23895700-1423798273_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-23895700-1423798273thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="240" height="320" /></a><a href="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-29953000-1423798288.jpg"><img src="/assets/uploads/files/monthly_02_2015_post-3360-0-29953000-1423798288_thumb.jpg" alt="post-3360-0-29953000-1423798288thumb.jp" class=" img-fluid img-markdown" width="240" height="320" /></a></p>

You will need a bearing splitter and something to press the gear train out of the input shaft bearing. Thats all that comes to mind right now</p>
