I'm hooked. We'll be posting pictures because we are always looking for bimmers while on the road. We drive to Madison via 90/94 quite often with 2 kids at the UW and to Milw once in a while with another one there. The 98 is tan with a camel interior. It is in absolutely great shape inside and out. The X5 is silver with black interior and is getting better each month. Had some needed work done with some more work to do. Looking forward to this forum.

Originally from Monroe, just south of Madison. We will be going there for Thanksgiving and probably going to Baumgartners Wednesday night.

I just have a stock 4.4 L engine. It has 105K and we got it this past May. This car really gets on it and will cruise at 85mph quite easily. I'm new to the BMW world. I picked up the 528 a year ago. I can navigate around old Chevy engines, this is a whole new ball game. Looking forward to learning from this forum.

What motor is in the X5, how many miles, how long have you had it etc

I crave an x5 but am afraid the parts cost (relative to my old e30 where the used part market is alive and well) would cause me to become disenchanted with it
