Just wanted to say hi from Madison. Long time bimmer guy, have a 2011 135i for my DD currently. Just picked up a black 1991 vert in IL for a fun project car. Looking forward to getting some pics up. Have to clean her up first.

It's black on black needs some work. Some leaking oil, suspension, seats etc. But top and body were in tip top shape with no rust found yet. Runs pretty decent, some shaking in either the suspension or transmission gubio, so gotta figure that out. Got for a pretty good deal though I think. $2700 w/ about 100K miles on it, but is an auto. Clean carfax. Someday i'll do the manual swap.

So, any Madison guys handy here on these engines? I plan to teach myself on the engine stuff. Got the bently manual and I know enough to be dangerous, but extra minds are always welcome!

Anyways, saying hi!

Andrew
