<![CDATA[Common BMW Tools???]]>I thought I would start this thread to see if we can get a list going of the most common tools used when working on BMWs. I have a pretty good collection of tools, but I know I am probably missing a few. So let's hear what people of in the toll box for working on their cars.

3/8 ratchet with 8, 10, 13, 15, 17 mm

adjustable wrench

pliers

screwdrivers

zip ties

duct tape

jumper cables

spare taillight bulbs

common, but less used tools for an e30:

32mm thin wall socket for hubs

22mm (cant remember) socket for steering wheel

custom or bicycle specific 32mm wrench for fan clutch

oil filter strap tool for the damn oil filter.

3/8" drive ratchet with many more various extensions

screwdrivers

test light (electrical gremlins beware)

hammer

chisel

old school foundry for fixing the things i break with said hammer and chisel

tig welder for instant lsd

bondo

super glue

duct tape

zip ties

wire cutters/crimpers

axe used by jason

shotgun with rifled slug, mostly for pulling dents
