I just replaced my transmission mounts and took a short cut by not removing the exhaust and letting it hang. The result is a broken exhaust. I was going to take it to Wisconsin Muffler on Lincoln but I was not impressed with their phone manners and don’t really trust them with my car.

What I have is one cracked and one broken pipe right where the stock exhaust meets my Billy Boat SS cat back. I would like to take it somewhere local (I don’t trust the hangers at this point) and am considering having it towed.

Any suggestions?

I would love to do some stainless to mild I actually have time now coming up soon. I have a dual voltage miller diversion 180 tig and I would say I do pretty well for teaching myself(nearly). Can weld up to .125 or 125 amps on 110v

That would be great. I have seen some of you welding Very nice. I am fairly flexible on time. Just let me know. I will have the exhaust the car tonight.

I recall one of the guys on here able to come to you and weld up what you need fixed. Someone should be able to help you out, man.

I saw that thread. It was for a floor. I know welding SS to steel is different than steel to steel. I have a welder but I am not good with it yet and it does not have gas.
