Yesterday was the first day that I started to do anything with it. (didnt do very much but still it's a start) Yesterday i started on getting the engine and trans ready so it can be pulled from the car. Here is a progress picture.</p>

<p dir="auto">I didn't do it myself. But I seen the guys setup. It's a big walk-in oven that he can put 3-4 racks of whatever in to.</p>

<p dir="auto">I sandblasted the rear sub frame, trailing arms, and rear calipers and carriers. </p>
<p dir="auto">Got the rear calipers and carriers powder coated gloss black. <p dir="auto">I'm going to be getting the sub frame and trailing arms powder coated matte black. These will be done at my work.</p>
<p dir="auto">As for the rust situation, I made the battery tray piece out of 16 gauge steel and got a flat piece of 16 gauge to fix the rest.</p>

<p dir="auto">There is two rust hole in the floor pans of the car. One being right where your heel would be in front of the gas pedal and the other being right next to a plug in the floor on the passenger side.</p>
<p dir="auto">And I picked up some e36 front struts yesterday. I got them in and test fitted one of the rs's.</p>

So if anyone has A junk parts car that the firewall is still fine and is willing to cut it apart let me know. Just trying to find one before I just get steel from work and fix it from scratch.</p>
