For cost effectiveness. You could get an Ariel Atom for (Roughly) the same price, and have a K24 (civic SI motor) with a 6spd. That would romp alot of cars. And is open wheeled. (Trying to keep with the original posters car theory)

However, I'm seeing F1000 cars can be had for around $35k turnkey, and used ones anywhere from $10-15k-. Powered by 1000cc motorcycle engines..

There's no way they could make an exact (or even close to exact) replica for under $70k. 

I'm more drawn to the fact it looks awesome IMO, and the performance would be insane.

Looks more similar to the cars of the 90s
