<![CDATA[Hole in roof]]>I have a 1991 BMW 325 i soft top convertible that I recently purchased that RECENTLY received about a 14" straight rip in the top. If anyone has any suggestions on who will fix it or how to fix without replacing the whole top please respond.

Found some of the exact same fabric with some bish fabric glue and I sewed the hole shut then applied the patch and glue.

Im sure a local parts store has something. Otherwise you could sew it, but it might look pretty noticeable.

Oh and the neenah place I called already and they will only replace for about 1500 dollars and I'm only 16 working part time so that wouldn't happen for a few months thank you though.

I worked at a Canvas shop in Two Rivers for many years, and we repaired at least a dozen vert tops for various cars..
