I have an E46 M3 which is a track car. Want to get rid of the heavy 6sp gearbox and swap in a lighter, rebuildable 5sp tranny from an 96+ E36 M3/328is or an early E46 330 (ZF320).

Anyone have any experience with A-1 Driveshaft?

Aswell as balance it. That or just get the manual driveshaft. That'd be your best bet. And probably more cost effective..
