The main thing to look out for is the height that the steering rack would be mounted at in order to minimize bump steer.</p>

<p dir="auto">Once the trans is out, taking out the engine isn't a whole lot more of work at that point. Especially if you just drop the subframe with the engine.</p>

You're parts car is a manual correct? Taking the parts off that would teach you how to put it back on. I could give you a write up later tonight when I get home. Basically if you know how to change a clutch, thats a majority of the work.</p>

<p dir="auto">You will need some decently tall jack stands either way. </p>
