<![CDATA[bmw e28 questions????]]>alright ive decided I want to try and build a turbo engine for my 528e and just wondering is the m20 that is in the 528e the same sohc that is in the e30 m3s? if so this is gonna be a lot of fun!!!!

Downpipes and other exhaust parts besides the manifolds are not swappable between e30's and e28's

]]>https://wibimmers.com/post/27822https://wibimmers.com/post/27822Tue, 10 Sep 2013 22:31:25 GMT<![CDATA[Reply to bmw e28 questions???? on Tue, 10 Sep 2013 14:01:06 GMT]]>the "i" and "e" manifolds can be bolted on either head, but the difference is that the "i" is dual 1.75" exhaust and the "e" is single 2" exhaust (i believe that is the right size) so if you find an aftermarket turbo manifold for an e30 325i, it can bolt up to your 528e head just fine. everything downstream will need to be adapted to fit due to the single vs dual exhaust setup.

E30 M3's have an S14 (based off the m10)
